Patrice was managing the Mira Aditi stall and came to visit us. Pointing
towards a quote printed on a poster he remarked to Dr. Gyanchandra that as “The
Mother” is not written, those words lack force, and we immediately realized the
gravity of the omission. Similarly, a recent proposal to organize chanting
sessions without The Mother’s picture in the room appeared odd to me. For, the
secret of Integral Yoga is just the skill of invoking The Mother in all
situations. There is no other means and this religious façade is indispensable.
