[Compare this situation to the India Rising euphoria of the NDA rule. That was a time when India had begun to look confident. Indians were beginning to get back their self-esteem and seriously started thinking about competing with China.
Then the notorious Hindu political blindness and stupidity manifested themselves. Hindus in their ‘wisdom’ rejected the NDA government and chose a party of courtiers led by a White Christian to rule them. This is incidentally the same race which rejected Sri Aurobindo in favour of Gandhi and Sardar Patel in favour of Nehru.
