Nationalist ideology under Sri Aurobindian ontology

@SavitriEraParty: @arunmsk I'd request you to start reading/reciting a page of Savitri by Sri Aurobindo on a regular basis for unlocking some newness in life.
@SavitriEraParty: There is no alternative to read and know and Sri Aurobindo has left it all in black and white. Art and poetry, philosophy and politics, Yoga.
@SavitriEraParty: The civilizational experience of the West form a vast canvas over which India has the distinct advantage of painting its future. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo presents such a lofty notion of nationalism dovetailing  into universalism that mere bread & butter issues find their harmony.
@SavitriEraParty: Power entails development and governance but the greater task for a Party is to inculcate sentiments of unity and optimism among the people.
@SavitriEraParty: No other individual has charted a more elegant evolutionary pathway for India during the last hundred years than Sri Aurobindo. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: Party affiliations should never act as a repellent for assimilating appropriate intellectual inputs that can nurture an Integral worldview.
@SavitriEraParty: Intellectual underpinning is an essential element of any sound society and without grasping Sri Aurobindo's logic no firm basis is possible.
@SavitriEraParty: @Sheks65 Forming Govt is not the only legitimacy within a democracy especially when Sri Aurobindo's #FiveDreams Manifesto has a wide vision.
@SavitriEraParty: Ideological purity and maturity is far more important for the nation today than juvenile cobbling of motley combination for capturing power.
@SavitriEraParty: Many are wary of multiplicity of parties but then what's the alternative if one disagrees with AAP, BJP-RSS, Congress and the Left ideology?
@SavitriEraParty: Indian Constitution is a fairly decent document to accommodate nationalist sentiment under the overall umbrella of Sri Aurobindian Ontology.
@SavitriEraParty: Immediate electoral gains need not mesmerize us nor warp our strategies. Meeting of minds and ideological convergence is what should endure.
@SavitriEraParty: A huge nation-wide nationalist electoral space is still available that espouses liberalism & refuses to be yoked under the BJP-RSS paradigm.
@SavitriEraParty: Despite being twice-born, BJP is still entangled by the umbilical cord of the RSS and its borrowed cadre and dares not finding its own feet.
@SavitriEraParty: Symbiosis is a major driving force behind evolution but proves detrimental and debilitating in the long run like BJP-RSS or Sonia-Manmohan.

Sri Aurobindo's philosophy, poetry, and social theory

Governance and development torment our planners and lay man alike in India today. The elite is red faced as to why we are lagging behind and for so long. Earlier, the blame was on conquerors and colonialists but now there is no such alibi. So, obviously, something must be lacking in our national character; more aptitudinal than ethical. One such trait is reluctance to spot value.

The neglect of Sri Aurobindo by educated young Indians proves the point. Pretty intelligent people on Twitter are discussing thousand other things but are unwilling to listen a word about Sri Aurobindo. The preeminent place Sri Aurobindo occupies in philosophy, poetry, and social theory is absolutely forgotten whenever a portrait of the modern India is sought to be presented.

TV coverage is setting norms of value and individual priorities in a predominant manner but Internet has also facilitated reading in a big way. So, why this near absence of appreciation for what can be called the single-most reservoir of social capital? No doubt, absence of utilitarian exploitation by way of career avenues is a huge bottleneck but the reigning impression of the teaching of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo being abstract also acts as a dampener.

A national level Institute offering fellowships and part-time employment for prosecuting socio-cultural research around the works of Sri Aurobindo is a necessity now. That such an initiative should generate in the voluntary sector without any dependence on the Govt. is also important. Future progress of India necessitates Sri Aurobindo's Five Dreams taking practical shape and no lesser casual initiative can claim to outpace it. [TNM55]

Sri Aurobindo and the transphysical worlds

Sri Aurobindo was not a historian but a lot of historical accounts can be found in his writings. On many occasions his brush strokes are so broad that multiple factual inconsistencies can be spotted on close scrutiny. At places, Sri Aurobindo describes certain events or episodes of history like he presents an estimate of a person. He, in fact, enters into the spirit and hastens to portray an integral picture while the material details might be lacking such perfection. This is true of all creative writers and nothing can be more vivid in our times than even Heehs skidding.

The difficulty of academic interrogation of Sri Aurobindo, therefore, is enormous since relying upon quotations from his works can be wobbling. Besides, his perceptions differ between his conversations and writings at places pertaining to separate periods of time. The sheer mass of his writings also presents a huge obstacle for obtaining a satisfactory grasp within a reasonable time. Variety and depth also dissuades many young enthusiasts to attempt understanding him in any detail. Nevertheless, it's not impossible to gather an overall emphasis on an unerring, unseen force in all of Sri Aurobindo's writings.

The evolutionary quest for light, freedom, and immortality is the constant theme in Sri Aurobindo's poems and plays, historical narratives and political prophecy. Intellectual growth is not exactly his notion of perfection but the emphasis he puts on it as a tool and a help for further rise into higher rungs of consciousness must receive our attention. Dr. Eric M. Weiss maintains that "Sri Aurobindo's descriptions of transphysical worlds in Part I Book II of his epic poem Savitri, is unparalleled in the English language." [TNM55]

Sri Aurobindo as arbitrator Of history

India stands divided today on the basis of its past. An influential section believes that a glorious account of Indian history has deliberately been sabotaged and hence the same should be reestablished while the more commonsensical view is that the modern generation should steer clear of such uncritical and unsubstantiated tributes to the past. An understanding approach, however, senses some merit in both the standpoints and the challenge, therefore, is how to reconcile the two extremes. The problem is compounded when dominant political parties of the country patronise any one side of the debate and force almost a mythological version of history on cadre, thereby raising a vocal bulwark of support, resistance, and aggression. Not only identity and religion, a whole system of patronage and propaganda grows around the network bordering on a sort of sub-nationalism prospering over a wide diaspora.

In the face of such a dismal scenario, the students of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo find themselves in an extremely advantageous situation barring the fact that they are in an extreme minority. But the fact that the bone of contention is largely intellectual is a precious silver lining with every potentiality of a noon dawning at any moment. Sri Aurobindo, while dealing with the ancient Indian texts with unparalleled insight and analysis, brings the critical tools to the table so that the West is also allowed a level playing field. Anti-colonialist feeling prevalent in India has prevented people from taking sufficient advantage of such an intellectual symbiosis, but The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, through their published works spanning about a hundred volumes, have indeed unveiled a new era of harmony and international understanding.

Hegel and Whitehead, Lao tzu and Nietzsche, diverse streams of world knowledge find a synthesis in Sri Aurobindo's encyclopedic writings. Homer and Heraclitus, Dante and Goethe, all come alive in his portrayals and comparative analyses covering poetry, philosophy, politics, and education. More than anything else, Sri Aurobindo gives us a firm foothold in the midst of history to institute our own measurements and calibrations under the safe authority of his hallowed arbitration. A point of caution here, however, is to avoid rigid literalism and hackneyed fact-fetishism so as to draw freely from Sri Aurobindo's liberating oeuvre. A further unrecognised aspect is any effort to understand the great Master also contributes to the overall urge for global wellbeing and evolution. [TNM55]

A democracy less noisy

The recent political churning in India has proved beyond doubt that despite operational loopholes and shortcomings, a widespread longing for designing a better society grips the youth overwhelmingly. The spirit of sacrifice and selflessness exhibited by countless volunteers is a reminder that the quest for perfection and evolution is on. Sri Aurobindo's vision of the Life Divine, in this context, appears increasingly relevant howsoever far the present situation may be from it. A quiet and firm sense of certitude in its advent on our part is what is wanted especially in view of the Centenary of the book the coming year. Sri Aurobindo's image, unfortunately, has been buried under the popular misconceptions of yoga and meditation but the autonomy of the ontology outlined magisterially in the book The Life Divine must stand on its own. A recent book juxtaposing Sri Aurobindo with Whitehead further enhances the pivotal place The Life Divine occupies in the world of philosophy. It also underscores the receding value of religious notions that linger as superstitions sans any rational justifications.
Thus the fusion of political as well as religious imperatives must be brought into focus for possible acceptance by discerning young minds. The wealth of philosophical training and scientific thinking that Sri Aurobindo brings to the table also needs to be highlighted. The immediate political thrill and pleasures of group dynamics may not be available from the philosophical approach but then the ultimate lesson for democracy is also to be less noisy and showy.

Kejriwal and Kiran as lead pair

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 2m
The Prafulla Mahanta syndrome too is another dampener for AAP prospects as cynicism overpowers the auto-correcting aspects of Democracy.

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 9m
The Pramod Mahajan syndrome has altered the Indian politics irrevocably and crony capitalism hardly bothers anyone. AAP not taken seriously.

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 26m
@Sheks65 2014 will be dominated by internecine fight among regional parties and the confusion generated would be mind boggling. Let's see.

@sabhlok You may be lauded for objectivity, impartiality, & courage but will accused of cruelty! Let him take rest after gruelling campaign.

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 5h
Just like Delhi weather is National weather on TV, AAP, by virtue of fighting Elections in Delhi, evokes the impression of a National Party.

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 6h
@omprakashgoenka That, ironically, holds good for the opposite eventuality too.

Savitri Era Party ‏@SavitriEraParty 6h
@Realist_Indian @smarket Being voted to Power precedes any modicum of governance and no escape from this reality which even AAP internalised.

Sri Aurobindo's Vedic dialectic of Integral Evolution

@SavitriEraParty: [The essence of Rig Veda: Sri Aurobindo and Sri Kapāli Sāstry. It has four key steps described briefly [1; 16, Vol.4] http://t.co/Xo4BaIKUup
@SavitriEraParty: [On Mantric Traditions: the teachings of Kukai and Sri Aurobindo by Rod Hemsell] http://t.co/bZ9JX34UPa
@SavitriEraParty: Memorizing the first verse of the Veda is the minimum one can do in honour of such an ancient yet profound poetic wonder. Just 24 syllables.
@SavitriEraParty: Despite the all round moral degeneration, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo never did lose hope. The Veda, The Life Divine, & Savitri are saviours.
@SavitriEraParty: Upon contemplating the probable fate of India after Independence 100 years ago, Sri Aurobindo saw nothing optimistic and opted for the Veda.
@SavitriEraParty: Internet has bestowed too much of wisdom upon too many persons at too young an age. But, their orientation on the Veda would almost be zero!
@SavitriEraParty: Safeguarding secularism may be a noble mission but if it blinds one to riches of the Veda, then that must be labelled as a serious delusion.
@SavitriEraParty: Moral values will never endure by merely relying upon youthful exuberance or devotional preponderance. The Veda is a more secure anchor.
@SavitriEraParty: India was under foreign rule as the Veda was banished from people's memory; Sri Aurobindo enthroned it and India regained its Independence.
@SavitriEraParty: The way Sri Aurobindo decoded the Vedic terminology, The Mother too brought out the significance of flowers by assigning them Vedic values.
@SavitriEraParty: The Vedic transaction is a dialogue involving both ascent and the descent leading to further transformation and conquering of territory.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo picks up the idea of Evolution and Overman from Western discourses but finds their confirmation later in the Vedic utterances.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda said it 1000s years earlier that human mind has potential of roaming faster than what a Google search command can accomplish today.
@SavitriEraParty: Those who are eager for forecasting Election results can certainly be able to hone their intuition further by uttering certain Vedic hymns.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda may not be a coherent document for historical or anthropological investigation but has enough fodder for psychological exploration.
@SavitriEraParty: The horse has ceased to be a combat vehicle but the imagery has forever been captured by the Veda to mean war against agents of disharmony.
@SavitriEraParty: It's only by internalizing the priorities enunciated in the Veda that an ideal society can be conceived of like Sri Aurobindo's Life Divine.
@SavitriEraParty: Veda is an altogether different Continent by entering into which one can partake of its savour and not by telescopic observations from afar.
@SavitriEraParty: Quality of life has come to be measured in terms of skyscrapers but the adventure of consciousness the Veda facilitates has no competitors.
@SavitriEraParty: Worshippers of liberty are often dismayed by their pet projections going haywire but fail to realize that thwarts are of Vedic stipulations.
@SavitriEraParty: Semiology hypothesizes divergence between the text and the addressee but The Veda's mantric lift can be a means to hearken to the originary.
@SavitriEraParty: The hermeneutic of the Veda is not to be confused with that of any subsequent Karika or the Gita. Sri Aurobindo takes us to the very source.
@SavitriEraParty: Even the distribution of portfolios in deference to gender aptitude and specialisations offers a very interesting area of study in the Veda.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda not only gives the clue to fathom taxonomy of human temperaments but also geographical attributes ruling over psychological traits.
@SavitriEraParty: Those who are too bothered about Equality better consult Bhaga of the Veda who presides over all distribution and notion of share and quota.
@SavitriEraParty: Harbouring political ambition or seeking power are often held as pejorative but the Veda thinks it otherwise. Aryaman is the ideal of force.
@SavitriEraParty: Fighting against corruption & misconduct is surely a Vedic imperative since light & transparency are primordial elements of human Evolution.
@SavitriEraParty: Regional saint poets of yesteryears were responsible for distancing the Veda from popular appreciation and Sri Aurobindo reverses that flaw.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo also liberates the Veda from meaningless ritual & turns it accessible to people of all cultures as a tool for self-perfection.
@SavitriEraParty: Through his inimitable translations and unsurpassed commentaries Sri Aurobindo has transformed the Veda into a universal document of ethics.
@SavitriEraParty: Land of its origin or language in which it is written are insignificant aspects in comparison to overall worth of content the Veda uncorks.
@SavitriEraParty: When we extol the Knowledge Society & Transparency, it's basically Varuna in the Vedic diction the "oceanic vastness" of which Twitter aims.
@SavitriEraParty: What we call Multiculturalism, Diversity, or a Tolerant society today is nothing but the domain of the Vedic Mitra seen as a political goal.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda is the repository of all values, both human and Divine, and verily the fount of all Codes & Constitutions of various Civilisations.
@SavitriEraParty: It's instructive to approach the Veda sans poetic embellishments & the Deities as sheer powers shorn of latter day mythological distortions.
@SavitriEraParty: Man's petition to Deity in the Veda in fact constitutes the dialectic between the actual and the possible and quenches quest for perfection.
@SavitriEraParty: Even learning about a solitary term of the Veda can alter the whole perspective of life and priorities. Sri Aurobindo invites to adventure.
@SavitriEraParty: Neither the Leftists nor the Right Wing stalwarts have anything to do with the Veda; they even ignore Sri Aurobindo but worship mediocre.
@SavitriEraParty: Not the mythological stories that are merely faraway symbols but the original invocations of the Veda leading to man's perfection must rule.
@SavitriEraParty: Veda also presents an interesting spectacle of not giving way to reductionistic ontology of Upanishads thus defending postmodernist terrain.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo exhorts every Indian to rescue the Veda from disuse and to seek the enlightened company of Mitra and Varuna, Mahi and Sarama.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda neither needs temples nor statues, neither havan nor chantings rendered with bodily gestures. It must suffuse our minds and senses.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda not only gives the key to stray into higher levels of cognition but also imparts rare poetic sensibilities from unimagined regions.
@SavitriEraParty: For millions of Indians the Veda is a closed book, used during the funeral rituals. Sri Aurobindo says it's the book of life and aspiration.
@SavitriEraParty: The fact that so much of disinformation pervades Twitter, it's also a Veda-ordained task to expose perpetrators of falsehood & lie-peddlers.
@SavitriEraParty: Veda is replete with allusions to war and prayers for victory. Sri Aurobindo identifies it as fight for light waged since prehistoric days.
@SavitriEraParty: The clarity with which Sri Aurobindo has depicted the course of future human Evolution is not unrelated to his overall political projection.
@SavitriEraParty: The role of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo during the WW-II is proof enough that their joint agenda has significant future political dimensions.
@SavitriEraParty: Let the elixir of the Veda - and not alcohol - be the companion of youth in a prosperous India that leads the world towards the Life Divine.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda shows us the path of life, tells its destination, armours against adversaries & keeps reminding of the final victory against death.
@SavitriEraParty: Europe was engulfed in War and whole West was gasping for breath under Existentialism is when Sri Aurobindo revealed the Secret of the Veda.
@SavitriEraParty: Technology has put us in a flux & it's futile to fulminate against contesting cultural norms. The Veda conversely anchors the core concerns.
@SavitriEraParty: The great men that are eulogized day in and day out are ignorant of the Veda. Only Sri Aurobindo understood which he brings out in Savitri.
@SavitriEraParty: To be young and educated but not conscious of the challenges of life and society is a colossal delusion. The Veda alerts us to adversaries.
@SavitriEraParty: Science is yet to be sure whether the Universe is continuous or discontinuous but the Human destination is starkly demonstrated in the Veda.
@SavitriEraParty: Most philosophical streams have been able to explain the problems of life and perception quite excellently but they call it a day midstream.
@SavitriEraParty: Poverty, no doubt, is a potent political issue but the real issues are beyond economics. The Veda awakens us to the deeper concerns of man.
@SavitriEraParty: The contribution of Indian psychology to the emergence of a subjective and spiritual age (Sri Aurobindo)by Don Salmon http://t.co/UmfoMtjfGg
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda is the foundation of ethics and excellence and Sri Aurobindo has enhanced its core relevance by yoking it to the future Evolution.
@SavitriEraParty: Neither Nehru nor Radhakrishnan forbid anyone from studying the works of Sri Aurobindo but our columnists & analysts blame education system.
@SavitriEraParty: The Veda is too vast is a clever pretext to avoid it. But what prevents to learn about a single term like Agni, Arya or Ratna to start with?
@SavitriEraParty: Why blame Nehru if you are unwilling to read even a page of The Secret of the Veda authored by Sri Aurobindo that's freely available online?
@SavitriEraParty: Greenhorns ticking off Sri Aurobindo on Twitter is so laughable that one only prays for this country & English-knowing citizenry in silence!
@SavitriEraParty: How can those who are so concerned about the erroneous Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) be so complacent regarding right interpretation of Veda?
@SavitriEraParty: Most people would pretend as if the Veda doesn't exist & so-called votaries of Hindu religion are silent about it. Why? Who has authorised?
@SavitriEraParty: Understanding Lal-Bal-Pal individually is essential and more important is how Sri Aurobindo went many steps ahead to reinterpret scriptures.
@SavitriEraParty: No one has any right to call himself a Hindu unless he reads and understands the Veda the way Sri Aurobindo has unveiled its potent secrets.
@SavitriEraParty: Mechanical recitation and foolishly listening to chanting has spawned a culture of anti-intellectualism for which Sri Aurobindo is antidote.
@SavitriEraParty: Misguided reading of ancient texts has been the bane of Indian society for Centuries and Sri Aurobindo alone is the sun who dispels darkness.
@SavitriEraParty: A thumb rule for present generation is not to accept any text or scripture without consulting Sri Aurobindo's opinion on it & allied books.
@SavitriEraParty: It's definitely preferable to take guidance regarding life and action from the sayings of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo instead of present owls.

Rock and torch

The books by The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the best antidote for the sophisticated seeming web of a bunch of Hindu Bhindranwales on Twitter.

Today when the world is groping under ideological confusion and metaphysical ambivalence, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo stand as rock and torch.

The Mother's groundbreaking work in Puducherry spanning six decades has hardly attracted attention of historians chronicling nation building.

Gokhale went to South Africa to meet Gandhi in 1912 as per British conspiracy. The Mother came to meet Sri Aurobindo in 1914 to negate that.

All those who feel that Sri Aurobindo has not got his due must come forward to express their gratitude on his passing away day on December 5.

If anyone or organization is planning a function on the passing away anniversary of Sri Aurobindo on December 5 please notify it on Twitter.

Sri Aurobindo's birthday on August 15 drowns in the Independence Day din. Let the nation remember him in a befitting fashion on December 5.

Sri Aurobindo is the greatest poet and author the world has produced so far. Digesting even a morsel is worth it from this 20th Century seer.

Election fever will be over on 4th. Please visit your nearest Sri Aurobindo Centre to pay homage on his passing away anniversary on 5th Dec.

@kuffir @sanjeevsanyal Sri Aurobindo is the safest framework to scrutinize anything from the tradition or the contemporary repertoire in.

Sri Aurobindo gave the Darwinian version of Evolution a wheel to move forward and a mirror to look back at the dawn. amazon.com/Evolution-Reli…

@sahilkhatri82 Wonderful but the image Nagpur evokes today is the Kafkaesque caucus called RSS that prevents flow of Sri Aurobindo's thought.

Sri Aurobindo's support for Allies in WW-II, Cripps offer, Wavel plan, Cabinet Mission, and #FiveDreams speech on Aug 14,1947 are landmarks.

Sri Aurobindo seems not very particular about the popular notion of reward or punishment for action but the Tehelka episode validates Karma!

RW stalwarts mortgaging their intelligence to Quixotic fantasy is a greater tragedy than India refusing the Cripps offer seven decades back.

Two decades have elapsed after End of History but the Left-Right divide refuses to die. Let's hope #AAP bridges the gap & ushers in Harmony.

Each vote for AAP in Delhi is a vote against medieval obscurantism espoused by RSS/BJP and the dynastic enslavement imposed by the Congress.

No need to dream of exotic revolutions like Spring or Jasmine since voting for the humble broom of AAP can cleanse the dirt of the nation.

2014 is the Centenary year of The Life Divine

@SavitriEraParty: 2014 is not merely about Elections but is the Centenary year of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo meeting & publication of ARYA & The Life Divine.
@SavitriEraParty: The feminist themes The Mother pushed through her gender equality idea embedded in Sri Aurobindo's larger ontological framework are precious
@SavitriEraParty: 23 years of The Mother's experiments in collective living after Sri Aurobindo's passing away in 1950 constitutes an interesting episode.
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother passed away in 1973 but her pioneering thought and work integrating the East & the West will continue to guide humanity for ever.
@SavitriEraParty: @fgautier26 Sri Aurobindo is a much better and greater theme than expounding on these confusing nitty-gritty on Christianity. @Victor_47
@SavitriEraParty: Safeguarding Evolutionary virtues & Human values tantamount to Vedic inevitability which The Mother & Sri Aurobindo visualise in #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo identified the land of India as capable of nurturing the Vedic wisdom and momentum to fight against ignorance.
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo met on March 29, 1914 a few months before WW-I and fought against Hitler with spiritual power from Puducherry.
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo came to remind the Indians that the fight for the Vedic Light is not part of history or allegory but concurrent.
@SavitriEraParty: Being on the side of Evolution and foresee the forces of Harmony is the most crucial choice before citizens of India today and to voice it.
@SavitriEraParty: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was well read and eminently capable but missed the Evolutionary Integral Ontology of Sri Aurobindo and got misled.
@SavitriEraParty: @WriterRavikumar Dalits say mere economic upliftment not enough, social parity is the goal. Savitri Era Religion can ensure such a scenario.
@SavitriEraParty: Strange that those who rue past economic mistakes committed by Indian rulers are so oblivious of the grave political mistake of the future.
@SavitriEraParty: Seems ironic that those who complain of being victim of political untouchability are recommending the same for some new acquaintances of AAP.
@SavitriEraParty: The most pitiable state of affairs in India today is all are either paid or chained & there is no dominant moral voice in the public domain.
@SavitriEraParty: Nothing is more paradoxical in India today than Mars Orbiter on the one hand and Modi misadventure launched by RSS medievalism on the other.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 War needs best horses & not merely old horses. The inspiration name of Nitish Kumar brings right now across the country is epic.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 No doubt, Nitish Kumar earned national attention on the Development plank, but the resistance he applied on BJP is Evolutionary.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 Never before in the history of India a challenge like the present one had arisen and therefore 2014 will see epic confrontation.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 See, if we remember the kind of hope & belief people like JP, Lohia & Karpoori Thakur invested in this experiment, that's enough.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 After attending the Oct 30 Convention, I'm pretty sure that the Third Front plus Left will form a Govt. at the Centre in 2014.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 Will depend upon the numbers and since most State Parties are autonomous, they'd like to function within a really federal Front.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 For 2014, they will have to come together, no other option; pure arithmetic. The clarity that Nitish unleashed is liberating!!!
@SavitriEraParty: Nitish Kumar has demonstrated a clear direction before the country by opposing both BJP & the Congress. AAP is giving it a shape in Delhi.
@SavitriEraParty: @rranjan501 Nitish Kumar, obviously.
@SavitriEraParty: @thinkoutofbox Are you hopeful of their survival by that date?
@SavitriEraParty: @amishra77 @SKS_Mumbai Is it a lie that BJP will not be able manage even half of 272?
@SavitriEraParty: Democracy is a game of numbers and no BJP nominee can become PM unless he leaves the party and comes out of the RSS influence & instruction.
@SavitriEraParty: We must get out of this mentality that Third Front Parties produce only 3rd rate leaders. Kejriwal has caught the imagination of the people.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 Not BJP alone but a variant of Third Front which was in power. Now that BJP has decided to opt out it's free in its path to extinction.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 I repeat that the first priority before the country is to get rid of ivory-tower parties like Congress & BJP and vote for Third Front.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 AAP is evolving & as more & more people join it the popular image will reflect more prominently. Right now it's the best bet in Delhi.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 Political one-upmanship is part of the Democracy game and we lay citizens are ignorant of what goes on behind the scene & who to blame.
@SavitriEraParty: Evolution and Transformation are watchwords in Sri Aurobindo's Integral Education & Yoga which ensure freedom from chasing solitary virtues.
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo offer the most reasonable moral anchor and plausible ontology that is at the base of their Integral ideology.
@SavitriEraParty: This is not the time for petty nitpicking but to dare for the big picture. Securing every single vote for AAP & Third Front is a sacred duty.
@SavitriEraParty: Dream of revolution for decades but decline to embrace it when face to face. That's the plight of all those who are indifferent to AAP, alas!
@SavitriEraParty: Jan-andolan-wallahs seem to be still mired in delusion and refuse to come out openly in support of AAP. That precisely helps Congress & BJP.
@SavitriEraParty: Delhi's preference for AAP has unnerved BJP & Congress and momentum will continue till 2014. Third Front is likely to form Govt. on its own.
@SavitriEraParty: Opportune moment for people of Rajasthan-MP-Chhattisgarh to follow Delhi example & discard BJP & Congress to vote for Third Front candidates.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 We support freedom but current socio-political climate in India is yet to evolve to that level. People like Nitish Kumar are trying.
@SavitriEraParty: Our Party is against RSS, Congress & the Left. Electoral arithmetic is bringing the Left close to Third Front and Leftist honesty is a plus.
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 This time the Third Front is going to have many more people and the navigation is in the hands of the Left. So there will be scrutiny.
@SavitriEraParty: @Vidyut Any doubt? What else? Without an Election, there is no Democracy; no legitimacy at least. @sarvatragam
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 Third Front represents authentic grassroots politics and federalism. If you detest such ideas, then it's fine. I respect your opinion.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam If candidates of smaller parties & independents win and form Govt. it'd certainly be more responsive towards the people's will.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam True, if people start rejecting Congress & BJP then they will consciously reward honest independents fighting on modest means.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam See, Elections are the only means of nurturing a Democracy and hence they are to be held as often as warranted and at all costs.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam Election Industry offers good opportunity for ploughing back of Black Money into the system and it refurbishes the economy!
@SavitriEraParty: @vs70 Why? Our Party's viewpoints are quite clear and consistent. Sri Aurobindo's vision necessitates annihilation of the Congress and BJP.
@SavitriEraParty: @kalyan_jee1 Political ambition is not a bad thing. Just because Anna & Kej fell out, it doesn't mean their brief partnership lacked trust.
@SavitriEraParty: @kalyan_jee1 I think, you are over-estimating Anna as he was used as a mascot. His role was that much, don't expect further. @sarvatragam
@SavitriEraParty: @kalyan_jee1 See, that's part of the evolution of a new political party and both the camps are still in touch and are of help. @sarvatragam
@SavitriEraParty: @kalyan_jee1 Right now AAP needs our support & goodwill & let's hope that the austere steering of Yogendra Yadav bring success @sarvatragam
@SavitriEraParty: From the ramshackle stage at Jantar Mantar to putting up candidates in each Delhi Assembly Constituency; it's verily valiant journey for AAP.
@SavitriEraParty: @kalyan_jee1 It'd be better if you disclose on what basis you are making these predictions. AAP deserves a chance in Delhi. @sarvatragam
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam All, finally, depends upon the numbers and they are sure to zero in on some consensus with the astute coordination of the Left.
@SavitriEraParty: Sad that the people of MP, 36'Garh, & Rajasthan don't have strong Third Front parties, but even then they must vote against Congress & BJP.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam That eventuality will be a compulsion of numbers but unlikely to happen in 2014. Besides, Dynasty is fast losing its charisma.
@SavitriEraParty: @rahuldev2 No point in being sentimental about it. Sonia ruling India is itself another paradox. May lead to the awakening of Indian Spirit.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam What transpired in the Oct 30 Convention which I attended is very interesting. Now the consensus seemed leading towards Mulayam.
@SavitriEraParty: Fortunately, opposition to Congress and BJP is no longer personal but on strict ideological grounds. Their worn out legacy must get burial!
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam Past situation was different & they are responding to graver challenges now. At least that came across in the Oct 30 Convention.
@SavitriEraParty: Defeating Congress and BJP is the bounden duty of every citizen now. So AAP and Third Front can rewrite the political future of the country.
@SavitriEraParty: AAP has no past baggages but many are unsure about its ideological moorings. Yet it's the best available device to sweep away BJP & Congress.
@SavitriEraParty: Let AAP win & form a Govt. in Delhi & then the Party will be forced to function in harmony with the priorities of other Third Front partners.
@SavitriEraParty: Despite apparent shortcomings, Third Front victory in 2014 will be a genuine triumph of the grassroots politics in India and its federalism.
@SavitriEraParty: Third Front is poised to capture power at the Centre without the Congress or the BJP for the first time in the history of Indian Democracy.
@SavitriEraParty: @YograjCS The first priority is to eradicate Congress and BJP. Then, the voter is free to select his own favourite among rest of candidates.
@SavitriEraParty: AAP in Delhi has presented a never-before opportunity to teach BJP & Congress a lesson. Rest of India will follow the Delhi verdict in 2014.
@SavitriEraParty: Vote for any honest candidate other than the BJP and the Congress. This is the Mantra to liberate the country from servitude and ignorance.
@SavitriEraParty: Thanks to the Third Front, the choice before the voters in the country is pretty simple: Never to vote for the Congress or the BJP candidate.
@SavitriEraParty: The way the BJP supporters have trained their guns on AAP orchestratedly proves that the latter is now a real force to reckon with in Delhi.
@SavitriEraParty: Blessing & praying for someone for cracking Medical Entrance test is understandable but to make one PM with just hundred & odd is irrational.
@SavitriEraParty: Reliance on spectacle & theatricals has increased with the premise that theory or intellectuality matters less in politics. That's not true!
@SavitriEraParty: The intellectual & poetic adventure Sri Aurobindo imparts is unsurpassed but the young in India repose their faith on a bunch of uneducated.
@SavitriEraParty: Now, India has a sizeable young population armed with English education but narrow ideology prevents them from wrestling with Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: August 15, 1947 was Sri Aurobindo's 75th birth anniversary and his #FiveDreams message to the Nation was broadcast the previous evening.
@SavitriEraParty: Among those straddled the political stage in India during the 20th Century, only Sri Aurobindo had the Yogic vision apart from being writer.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo was one of his prime inspirations. [@krishnarjun108: Wish there is material available on the ideas of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee]
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou @sumanthbharatha @UtsavMitra @amargov I find it a bit amusing with use of "best" since none of you has a thorough background.
@SavitriEraParty: @sumanthbharatha @amargov @UtsavMitra http://t.co/SipScYV2KZ
@SavitriEraParty: @amargov There is much merit in researching and comparing the Indian languages and discovering their relative worth. http://t.co/IncUO3lOgt
@SavitriEraParty: @amargov Using alternative scripts shouldn't be opposed merely on Nationalist sentiments & the pragmatic approach is to permit wider reach.
@SavitriEraParty: @amargov Agree with your perception but then scripts available in India should get a fair chance on merit before any radical shift to Latin.
@SavitriEraParty: @amargov I'd suggest adopting the "Odia" script at the pan-Indian level and retain originality as well as beauty.
@SavitriEraParty: @m_vijayakumar Sri Aurobindo fits the prescription perfectly but unfortunately his socio-political theory hasn't received adequate reception.
@SavitriEraParty: @m_vijayakumar All of them form a mosaic. Studying the role Sri Aurobindo played 100 years back offers the complete picture. @ranganaathan
@SavitriEraParty: Anna Hazare is a cypher today but twenty years hence AAP will build a statue of him taller than Patel's. Religion also involves Real-Estate.
@SavitriEraParty: @thinkoutofbox Like Modi Religion, the AAP Religion is also highly dependent on theatrical devices for proselytisation of young enthusiasts.
@SavitriEraParty: Hari Om http://t.co/GOKXOSyhLH vainly attempts to appropriate the Nationalist legacy of Sri Aurobindo for Modi Religion through half-truths.
@SavitriEraParty: Politically a disaster, but from anthropological perspective, Modi Religion is an enabler intellectually like its predecessor, Kanshi Ram's.
@SavitriEraParty: Babulal Marandi tried to highlight Bijli-Sadak-Pani issues in the CPM sponsored anti-Communalism Convention, but religion dominated debate.
@SavitriEraParty: Anti-intellectualism fostered by Sonia and RSS and neglect of a Century-old warnings of Sri Aurobindo contributed to rise of Modi Religion.
[@m_vijayakumar: @SavitriEraParty The "Modi religion" is about power/greed and fuelled by corporate funding, buying of media etc. It is not just about merit]
@SavitriEraParty: But the maximum Modi Religion will reach can be estimated from the critique Sri Aurobindo admits against the Overman conceived by Nietzsche.
@SavitriEraParty: Modi Religion, with statues and all, including toilets, will harness the modernity narrative & pose a challenge to the Semitic imagination.
@SavitriEraParty: @m_vijayakumar The way Modi Religion has taken root, it has the potential of overthrowing Hinduism which was attempted since Ram Mohan Roy.
@SavitriEraParty: @m_vijayakumar Zoroastrian & Bahai are 2 other. Savitri Era Religion also claims Vedic pedigree & can successfully counter the Modi Religion.
@SavitriEraParty: @m_vijayakumar Even then, history is witness to advent of at least 5 Semitic religions successively & they all survive at different scales.
@SavitriEraParty: New Religions & internal rivalries have contributed to growth of Science, Philosophy, Literature & Movies in the West, but India languishes.
@SavitriEraParty: Quite strange that people welcome fresh models of mobile phones with new features but not a new Religion with science-compatible ontology!
@SavitriEraParty: It's true that people feel attracted to Sri Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville but get scared on discovering that it's completely a new Religion.
@SavitriEraParty: Scriptural boundaries are suffocating in old Religions whereas Savitri Era Religion is based on modern-scientific ontology of Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: @ashutoshibn7 Sri Aurobindo imparts the integral perspective pertaining to politics and religion based on the Vedic dialectic of Evolution.
@SavitriEraParty: When one visits a doctor he doesn't demand a specific medicine. Similarly studying Sri Aurobindo only for Gita or Nationalism is not enough.

@SavitriEraParty: @irfhabib The Gandhi vs. Sri Aurobindo story that is waiting would surely be more interesting and intellectually stimulating. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: @RajivMessage You complain against Westerners but why you have forgotten Lal-Bal-Pal & Sri Aurobindo as pre-Gandhian pioneers? @GirishPodar
@SavitriEraParty: @BhaskarChat But your present political persuasions hardly match those ideals. Alas!
[@thinkoutofbox: @SavitriEraParty Surely u would find diff. opinions about Tagore n Sri Aurobindo.]
@SavitriEraParty: @thinkoutofbox Our job on Twitter is to sift genuine affirmations from "different opinions."
@SavitriEraParty: @thinkoutofbox Tagore was a dreamer but Sri Aurobindo, his contemporary, was a visionary. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: Including Puducherry in the itinerary between 17 & 24 of this month can be a life changing opportunity for anyone who seeks peace & harmony.
@SavitriEraParty: Instead of acquiring theoretical grounding from fancy sources & celebrity endorsements, a systematic study of Sri Aurobindo's works empowers
@SavitriEraParty: The Mother & Sri Aurobindo are the only teachers who give authentic guidance on secularism, feminism, etc based on secure ontological clues.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo attained Siddhi on Nov 24, 1926 & remained confined to his room till he passed away in 1950. The Mother left on Nov 17, 1973.

@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla No one disputes such abstract assertions but you are avoiding specific names after the YY faux pas!
@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla I guess, you mean to say that every one is responsive to Sri Aurobindo in more or less degree & at some point of time or other.
@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla Fine, who are others in India's public life that you feel / see as positively responsive to Sri Aurobindo's vision, at present?
@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla My question is how do you, or anyone else for that matter, ascertain(s) who is responsive and who is not? A game of speculation?
@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla I don't know how do you establish YY "adores" Sri Aurobindo. Whether it's just religious or he believes in his political vision?
@SavitriEraParty: @drhpshukla Oh sure, YY is a known scholar but the Interview has no expression of any sympathy towards Sri Aurobindo's vision of the future.
@SavitriEraParty: Had Chakravarti Rajagopalachari (1878-1972) been the first Prime Minister, India's destiny would have been different. http://t.co/6a2oOFPe55
@SavitriEraParty: @yksingh26 The country should also remember the vital moves of Vithalbhai Patel (1873 – 22 October 1933). http://t.co/wq2obxoabf

@SavitriEraParty: Overdose of concern for heritage and historical figures is as much a drag on intelligence as investigating scientific anchorage of mythology.

@SavitriEraParty: [In October 1913, Sri Aurobindo changed house and started living in Rue Saint Martin. This house became the office of "Arya" a year later.]
@SavitriEraParty: It's tempting to write any number of history books without a reference to Puducherry but Sri Aurobindo is the pivot to any scheme of Future.
@SavitriEraParty: Erect any theory or dig any ism, all honest intellectual quests are bound to lead to the Integralism of Sri Aurobindo and Vedic Evolution.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo's larger Ontological mapping spanning three centuries ranks higher than ordinary sociological understanding of current events.
@SavitriEraParty: The kind of widespread intellectual slavery that is noticed on Twitter proves that Independence came to India nearly a millennium earlier!!!
@SavitriEraParty: Twitter must espouse knowledge and not be a slave to propaganda. Sri Aurobindo's writings help to understand the why of history & politics.
@SavitriEraParty: No longer we complain of scarcity as Twitter has democratised Knowledge distribution but the problem is partisan purveyors yoked to careers.
@SavitriEraParty: Twitter wordsmiths owe a responsibility towards truth & accuracy. Let not the herd mentality & propaganda infect the brains of young Indians.
@SavitriEraParty: Those who are invoking Sri Aurobindo to justify or legitimise RSS sponsored propaganda by tiny quotes are extremely misguided. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: Vedic fight against Vrtra was not a parable for Sri Aurobindo rather he successfully confronted Hitler by strategically aligning with Allies.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo himself denied any direct correspondence to mythology but identified Hitler's emergence as threat to Evolutionary progress.
@SavitriEraParty: Mythologization of 20th Century history will be fodder for future politics in India but the core event is how Sri Aurobindo thwarted Hitler.
@SavitriEraParty: Human love for excellence & natural curiosity seeks higher & pure secrets of existence. Sri Aurobindo explains them all with Vedic authority.
@SavitriEraParty: @brownbrumby Not to recognise 1950 as a break from the last 5000 years remains a major trap for the RSS with which it is yet to reconcile.
@SavitriEraParty: @ProfVarshney No, the patronising tone is very much evident. The "fighting" theme is also uncalled for which seeks to reinforce distinction.
@SavitriEraParty: @DrManishKumar1 Thankfully, people's belief is not uniform and hence the picture that emerges is like one's reflection upon an uneven mirror.

Narada symbolises postmodernism

@SavitriEraParty: Consciousness pervades everywhere is what The Mother & Sri Aurobindo insist so that we are freed from the dominant and apparent mechanicity.
@SavitriEraParty: In the first paragraph of "The Life Divine" Sri Aurobindo firmly assures that the first and foremost thing of our thinking must link to God.
@SavitriEraParty: The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo surpasses "Exploring fundamentals of matter and life in the giant cosmic puzzle" DNA http://t.co/VvCY94H0XC
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo's Integral Evolution encompasses individual psychological needs as well as dynamics of the collective life aiming World Union.
@SavitriEraParty: @Scarysouthpaw Narada symbolises postmodernist fondness for uncertainty & ambivalence who also plays a vital role in Sri Aurobindo's Savitri.
@SavitriEraParty: Since Ashrams have mushroomed all over the country many dismiss Sri Aurobindo as just one such founder. But no, his contribution is immense.
@SavitriEraParty: @acorn The #FiveDreams Manifesto of Sri Aurobindo broadcast on August 14, 1947 remains the most comprehensive and integral global vision.
@SavitriEraParty: Lessons on Nationalism from questionable sources corrupts the minds of many well-meaning patriots; cripples their line of thinking for life.
@SavitriEraParty: The kind of widespread intellectual slavery that is noticed on Twitter proves that Independence came to India nearly a millennium earlier!!!
@SavitriEraParty: @ProfVarshney No, the patronising tone is very much evident. The "fighting" theme is also uncalled for which seeks to reinforce distinction.
@SavitriEraParty: Neither Sitaram Yechury nor Sita Ram Goel are able to guide the India of the future. #FiveDreams Manifesto of Sri Aurobindo is sure recipe.
@SavitriEraParty: Good wishes to Yechury's initiative for Anti-communal convention on Oct 30 http://t.co/LuJqOYvVBL but it's all quicksand sans Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: Education, ethics, aesthetics, politics: on every count enduring guidance of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo can lead this nation to preeminence.
@SavitriEraParty: @sabhlok Thus far, the political response has been on a fire fighting mode, but a Party for the future has to be built on firm foundations.
@SavitriEraParty: @sabhlok Good wishes for proposed Party but let me reiterate, without the insights of Sri Aurobindo questions on religion remain unresolved.
@SavitriEraParty: @sabhlok I mean, Savitri Era Party and you and your friends are invited to join. No enthusiasm left for Teams, Fronts, or Movements.
@SavitriEraParty: @sabhlok That has been my persistent stand and the Leftist leanings of AAP is also very discouraging. So, our Party is the only option.
@SavitriEraParty: @sabhlok It was surprising that you relied upon Ramdev and now that you are thoroughly disillusioned with him is good for the future course.
@SavitriEraParty: So satisfying that AAP has provided a genuine & credible alternative to the people of Delhi whereas in many other States people are helpless.
@SavitriEraParty: Regardless the riddlesome trajectory of its genesis, #AAP must be congratulated for the grit it has shown in establishing itself as a Party.
@SavitriEraParty: AAP win in Delhi is likely to have a snowballing effect throughout the country leading to an overhaul of the whole political System/Dynasty.
@SavitriEraParty: RSS as well as Sonia's dynastic grip upon the Congress are severe impediments in the path of organic evolution of Democracy in the country.
@SavitriEraParty: It's time Anna Hazare understands the futility of his aversion to politics and join his forces with Kejriwal and end the swang like Advani.
@SavitriEraParty: The warnings of neither Amartya Sen nor Sudheendra Kulkarni have been able to prevent BJP from hurtling down in its suicidal path. Alas!
@SavitriEraParty: By ignoring Nitish Kumar, BJP has lost a huge natural advantage for forming Govt. at the Centre. Even now it can save itself from isolation.
@SavitriEraParty: A false sense of autonomy and an overdose of narcissism has been the bane of RSS & its associates. BJP's current electoral policy is flawed.
@SavitriEraParty: The arrogance exhibited by BJP supporters towards opponents may be backed by sound ideological chasm but capturing power is a different game.
@SavitriEraParty: Being forced to form a coalition with rivals after Election is the worst scenario for any Party but BJP celebrating its isolation is strange!
@SavitriEraParty: @gopimaliwal It's all Kalpa, if stretched to Cosmic dimensions.
@SavitriEraParty: Pen portraits will always be accused of misplaced perspective and it won’t be easy to pronounce where history ends and mythology takes over.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo represents future evolution and his ideas will triumph in spite of the stiff opposition as at present. http://t.co/fDNadgVWmu
@SavitriEraParty: Bringing the ideal & vision of Sri Aurobindo to the national discourse is the only recourse to liberate the country from the present impasse.
@SavitriEraParty: Studying works of Sri Aurobindo through the lens of a Hindu chauvinist is a defective approach. An open mind is essential to hear him aright.
@SavitriEraParty: Vedic connotations offered by Sri Aurobindo are so unique that one is likely to be misled into believing as mere figments of his imagination.
@SavitriEraParty: Fortunately, the clue is retained in the Kena Upanishad allegory in a rudimentary form as the inner spirit of the Vedas is unveiled at once.
@SavitriEraParty: Reluctance to understand the Evolutionary undercurrents of national politics as highlighted by Sri Aurobindo is a serious handicap for many.
@SavitriEraParty: The way Sri Aurobindo accomplished a synthesis of traditional streams of Indian wisdom and yet was able to transcend revivalism needs study.
@SavitriEraParty: But frontline Twitter regulars are so averse to any serious debate on weighty concerns that Sri Aurobindo was able to focus a Century back.

How to rescue Nationalism from RSS/BJP

@SavitriEraParty: It should be an eye opener why YY's political itinerary met with disappointments. It's ignoring path of Sri Aurobindo http://t.co/EbPbEXNHzs
@SavitriEraParty: @IndiaOpines While dwelling on the magnetic pull of Nationalism, YY remembers Manipur. But the right direction is Puducherry & Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo has laid out his #FiveDreams and enunciated the path of Integral Education and Yoga in order to achieve those noble goals.
@SavitriEraParty: The most crucial question embedded within the long interview of YY is how to rescue Nationalism from RSS/BJP and the answer is Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: Perhaps a well earned lesson for Yogendra Yadav in the primacy of Nationalism that is bound to end in Sri Aurobindo. http://t.co/rxRcnRWFXI
@SavitriEraParty: @jairajp No doubt AAP is strongly pitted in Delhi and is likely to taste power but its intellectual background to exist has not taken root.
@SavitriEraParty: @Tamil1947 @jairajp Apprehensions linger since AAP is making an audacious attempt to capture power without any base or previous popularity.
@SavitriEraParty: @Tamil1947 @jairajp Policies develop over time and are not a problem; more important is the ideology that acts as the glue to unite members.

Uprooting RSS & Congress

@SavitriEraParty: Never before the political lines were drawn so clearly as at present. Farewell to the Congress Dynasty and the nasty Hindutva Conspiracy.
@SavitriEraParty: @oracle1313 I want our country to be freed from the herd mentality pushed by Congress & RSS and in that aim Third Front Parties are helpers.
@SavitriEraParty: Current attempt by the Communists to bring the State Parties together is timely but their active participation in the alliance is necessary.
@SavitriEraParty: Emergence of BSP disrupted the neat boundaries and brought in the chaos element. But sadly, Mayawati squandered away much of her accolades.
@SavitriEraParty: @oracle1313 The kind of empowerment and intellectual fermentation Mayawati marshals among her socially backward followers is unparalleled.
@SavitriEraParty: Eyeing caste-based votes is easier said than done as the Communists learned the hard way in their heydays. Those deride Mandal are deluded.
@SavitriEraParty: Biju Patnaik hatched Pragati alliance in Odisha that led to BLD & then Janata Party. The non-Congress, non-Hindutva politics is deep-rooted.
@SavitriEraParty: @crguna Without a definite ideology any person may err or skid. A moral anchor like Sri Aurobindo's, therefore, is an essential element.
@SavitriEraParty: Merely lamenting about the dismal state of society & politics is not enough. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo offer step-by-step remedial guidance.
@SavitriEraParty: @oracle1313 It's futile to expect social ills like corruption to vanish & politics cleansed. Yet, Sri Aurobindo's teaching can bring change.
@SavitriEraParty: Every Indian should understand the past and future of our country as unveiled by Sri Aurobindo before committing support to any politician.
@SavitriEraParty: A new superstition that is being avidly peddled is that just one speech is enough for electoral victory in a State. No other factors count!
@SavitriEraParty: No intellectual environment to make people understand ideology. Vague terms like Development, Corruption etc are parroted to hoodwink voters.
@SavitriEraParty: @oracle1313 SP is in power in UP and I find no basis to denounce the democratic choice of 20 crore people. No complains if Mulayam is PM.
@SavitriEraParty: @oracle1313 Can't check veracity of data but right now we must restrict ourselves to the broad national scenario of uprooting RSS & Congress.
@SavitriEraParty: @Jangid Once AAP captures power in Delhi it will be a nucleus for countrywide momentum to turn Congress and BJP/RSS as footnotes to history.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejasTalks Activism and holding political office entail entirely different priorities and compulsions and the texture of politics changes.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejoMahalayD It'd be wrong to assume that Kejriwal runs the whole show. There're others to guide AAP & it's worthwhile to give it a chance.
@SavitriEraParty: Watching Cricket trains the young to submit to mob mentality & Political Parties too demand unswerving loyalty. Critical Reason is a rarity.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejasTalks That's fine. But, we have seen mid-course correction in the Anna movement to create AAP. Politics is the art of the possible.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejoMahalayD I agree that a lot of secrecy & dishonesty was involved till the creation of AAP but now it's a viable alternative in Delhi.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejasTalks True but that'd be a long-drawn approach; needs immense patience midst risk of disintegration. AAP joining Third Front is easier.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejasTalks True but that'd be a long-drawn approach; needs immense patience midst risk of disintegration. AAP joining Third Front is easier.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejasTalks Lokpal is not a feasible idea but it was used strategically to create a popular momentum from which AAP was born and expands.
@SavitriEraParty: AAP evolved through an authentic uprising and people's participation across the country. Within two years it's fighting Elections in Delhi.
@SavitriEraParty: @TejoMahalayD No means to verify accusations that fly before the Elections but no denying that AAP has successfully positioned as anti-Cong.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo's writings extends to 40 volumes besides wide-ranging conversations. But, RSS votaries are fond of only India's Rebirth. Why?
@SavitriEraParty: AAP must come out openly in support of the Third Front to create an anti-Congress/BJP sentiment and make the October 30 Convention a success.
@SavitriEraParty: CPI(M) sponsored proposed anti-communalism convention on October 30 will signal a broad-spectrum combination of forces against Congress/BJP.
@SavitriEraParty: @AnilAarush That's how real Democracy evolves from the grassroots. Congress Dynasty and RSS remote control have throttled genuine politics.
@SavitriEraParty: @AnilAarush Dwelling in the past may not be always the right guide for the future. India must get freedom from Congress and BJP/RSS combine.
@SavitriEraParty: Delhi Elections count very little at the national level but a decisive victory for AAP will lead to a Third Front win at the Centre in 2014.
@SavitriEraParty: Fitting moment for formation of a national level Party free from Hindutva, Nehruvian, and Marxist influences but guided by Sri Aurobindo's.
@SavitriEraParty: Preference for non-Congress, non-BJP parties favours #AAP & other State parties despite their deficiencies but a compulsion at this juncture.
@SavitriEraParty: Ideal situation is a political formation without Congress, BJP, and the Left but since AAP couldn't fill the space, Third Front must emerge.
@SavitriEraParty: @Satyapriyan India is already a democracy, I guess!
@SavitriEraParty: @kvl27 It's History not English!
@SavitriEraParty: @gopimaliwal Kindly ignore such gender-insensitive rhetoric.
@SavitriEraParty: @mihirssharma Does Sri Aurobindo or his #FiveDreams find a mention in the book? I doubt.
@SavitriEraParty: @greatbong Better to get rid of the false notion that writing books is more glorious an act than reading them!
@SavitriEraParty: Medievalism, secrecy, & anti-intellectualism have kept the RSS intact and well oiled. The Congress caucus is also following the same policy.
@SavitriEraParty: @dr_rajpurohit You seem to be too worked up today; what's the matter? Congress is a known sinking ship, anyway. Why defend a lost cause?
@SavitriEraParty: Party office-bearers tweeting with an air of objectivity foxes many at times like some of our avowedly apolitical journalists pontificating.
@SavitriEraParty: Tweets proclaiming "I respect" are common but the basic flaw lies in overlooking the worth or the very respectability of the person himself.
@SavitriEraParty: If only young Indians could recognise the importance of ideology at stake in 2014 Election and adjust their political antennae accordingly!
@SavitriEraParty: The situation is so grim that if no consensus emerges among the non-Congress and non-BJP Parties, even Sitaram Yechury will make a good PM.
@SavitriEraParty: @Sheks65 It's not a Presidential Election. State-wise projections show that your wish is likely to turn into a mirage but you are entitled.
@SavitriEraParty: @kshetragnya Naveen will be a favourite for his Nehruvian style but numbers are not in his favour. If JJ shows interest, he'd gallantly help.
@SavitriEraParty: @kshetragnya Nevertheless, someone will be the PM and Naveen is most likely to say JJ "Pahle aap" @vs70 @Sheks65
@SavitriEraParty: @kshetragnya No wonder, she has a firm chance of emerging as the next PM.
@SavitriEraParty: @Sheks65 What I'm speculating is based on ground realities & I give arguments. Advani's cards are quite strong after Gadkari & Samata Manch.
@SavitriEraParty: Country will not achieve its true liberation unless both Congress & RSS are completely uprooted. Sri Aurobindo's #FiveDreams only medicine.
@SavitriEraParty: @i31p1n Those who understand had no alternative to look upon. Savitri Era Party hopes to fill that vacuum by foregrounding Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: Those who attack BJP and RSS are patriots but their support to the Congress exposes their shallow understanding of the plight of the country.
@SavitriEraParty: Sri Aurobindo and his #FiveDreams should easily form the "unifying idea for parties with disparate agendas" to rally together as Third Front.
@SavitriEraParty: Endless stream of Tweets create the impression that 2014 fight is between BJP and Congress but the reality is that both are fringe players.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Depends upon the followers how best they organise themselves while striving for optimum fidelity to Sri Aurobindo's teachings.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Why? There are any number of books on Sri Aurobindo's formulations. Adequate endorsement/marketing has been lacking. @i31p1n
@SavitriEraParty: @i31p1n It's because RSS failed to follow Sri Aurobindo's legacy & traded hatred which forced/helped the family to tighten its grip over INC.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Gandhi had a different role to play in which he tried to excel, especially, vis-à-vis Tagore and Nehru and cannot be ignored.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Gandhi's collected works are 100 volumes but most of them are journalistic. Sri Aurobindo, in fact, is incomparable in depth.
@SavitriEraParty: @bibekdebroy Individuals, & not Govt, are responsible for corruption and the solution lies in opting for the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: @Punditmusings As personal influence often works more than the Party or Ideology, another ten may be added to the tally from rest of India!
@SavitriEraParty: @RakesChaturvedi Being above the Party he cannot attend petty meetings. Remember how Anna Hazare used to be above Parliament two years back?
@SavitriEraParty: Lessons on Nationalism from questionable sources corrupts the minds of many well-meaning patriots; cripples their line of thinking for life.
@SavitriEraParty: High concentration of Hindu hardliners among overseas software developers often gets anthropological explanations but the mystery stretches.
@SavitriEraParty: @acorn The #FiveDreams Manifesto of Sri Aurobindo broadcast on August 14, 1947 remains the most comprehensive and integral global vision.
@SavitriEraParty: The Dynasty as a menace to democracy in India is eminently eligible for derision and fight but that doesn't automatically mean support BJP.
@SavitriEraParty: It's a pity that such large number of erudite engineers active on Twitter are so poorly sensitised on social justice and social engineering.
@SavitriEraParty: The logic of a majoritarian supremacy is a fallacy under Indian constitution but many young people tend to get swayed by religious slogans.
@SavitriEraParty: Religious celebrations serve various other purposes than mere love of God. But it's wrong when the same sentiments are turned to fan hatred.
@SavitriEraParty: Nationalism and Hindu-Nationalism are entirely different sets of sentiments that our present day youth ought be able to distinguish between.
@SavitriEraParty: What Sri Aurobindo wrote and emphasised is the most essential primers for our young Indians today. Ignoring them will cost the nation heavy.
@SavitriEraParty: Scant acquaintance with the thoughts of Sri Aurobindo is no reason for staying aloof forever. Lots of helpful books: http://t.co/E6qEI14qKt
@SavitriEraParty: The Life Divine by Sri Aurobindo surpasses "Exploring fundamentals of matter and life in the giant cosmic puzzle" DNA http://t.co/VvCY94H0XC

Keep the RSS and the Congress out

@SavitriEraParty: Tribalism prevents from seeing that the Emperor is naked. Even the liberating power of education fails to trigger free thinking & choosing.
@SavitriEraParty: Tribalism imparts a powerful pull toward the Religion one is born into but it's no virtue. Finding out the best path available is diligence.
@SavitriEraParty: Tribalism induces to cling to the dominant groups but the beauty of democracy lies in niche ideals that survive with rudimentary support.
@SavitriEraParty: @Bhairavaprasada @WordOfTheFree @AgentSaffron @venkateshkm So we even need a Greek national to put sand in our eyes! http://t.co/iYeaS6Pl9G
@SavitriEraParty: Surprising that myriad analysts on Twitter never find it interesting to perform an honest comparison between Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo.
@SavitriEraParty: All glorification of India's past must rhyme with right politics at present. Not Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo turns out to be the safe guide.
@SavitriEraParty: Each State presents own & the overall picture is confusing but the overarching formula for 2014 is clear: Keep the RSS and the Congress out.
@SavitriEraParty: The logic of the SVD or BLD still rules the dominant minds in India as Congress couldn't escape from Dynasty and RSS from Medieval mentality.
@SavitriEraParty: The BLD initiative that precipitated forty years back & changed the course of Indian political history harbours great potentials even today.
@SavitriEraParty: Movements & alliances are transitory phenomena since our Constitution is biased towards single Party ruling the country. BLD can re-emerge.
@SavitriEraParty: In the absence of definite & viable alternative people's choice don't get reflected accurately. BLD can present itself as serious contender.
@SavitriEraParty: Pragati Legislature Party was formed in 1973 by Utkal Congress, Swatantra Party & others in Odisha that paved formation of BLD a year later.
@SavitriEraParty: No one should dream of 272 in 2014 without UP, Bihar, Bengal, and Odisha. Why do people prefer self-deluding stories is indeed a mystery!
@SavitriEraParty: @Realist_Indian Yeah, in terms of the floating vote since SP's base is more than secured.
@SavitriEraParty: @RaisinaSeries @hemantbhatia The RS route for PM is a fraud on the intention of the Constitution of India which needs to be done away with.
@SavitriEraParty: Vinoba, JP, & V.P. Singh have given India the most penetrating political interventions through their versatility and engagement with masses.
@SavitriEraParty: @Realist_Indian Nehru wrote a few books which still serve as fodder for a whole generation of Leftist scholars to fuel publishing industry.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Style belongs to personal preference as aesthetic choices undergo change as one ages. Fidelity rather is of greater concern.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Oh! Great. Reading it is like viewing a period movie; one has to go back in time to enjoy the frames fully. Happy reading!
@SavitriEraParty: Those who find it hard to digest Sri Aurobindo's treatises on Philosophy and Yoga can take up the 5 Plays written by him as an entry point.
@SavitriEraParty: @sarvatragam Nothing personal, but it's symptomatic of how distant is Sri Aurobindo from the mind-space of both Right and the Left in India.
@SavitriEraParty: The vision of Sri Aurobindo will take effect on the shoulders of the lovers of Sri Aurobindo. It hardly matters if sundry eggheads block it!
@SavitriEraParty: TL not for addressee alone [harshpolicy: @SavitriEraParty I genuinely respect Aurobindo but if you spam my TL again sir you will be blocked]
@SavitriEraParty: @harshpolicy I exercise my freedom on Twitter and so do you. It'd be history if you consider Sri Aurobindo as spam!
@SavitriEraParty: @harshpolicy They have served their purpose well so that upon their firm backdrop the vision of Sri Aurobindo can be painted most vividly.
@SavitriEraParty: @harshpolicy With ample borrowings from Sri Aurobindo and his Integral Ontology that is now well-acclaimed all over the world. #FiveDreams
@SavitriEraParty: @thinkoutofbox Imagining a world free of evil is a far off dream & only by collaborating with The Mother & Sri Aurobindo it may be achieved.
@SavitriEraParty: @kesarmakwanou Hope you discover a new India through the story of Sri Aurobindo and his observations on wide ranging topics. Happy reading!
@SavitriEraParty: @harshpolicy Tradition is no unmixed territory and, if espoused uncritically, can be disastrous. Sri Aurobindo lends the critical apparatus.
@SavitriEraParty: @harshpolicy The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, when they first met a century back on March 29, 1914, made sure that a new integration dawns.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat Sri Aurobindo has already factored in such history of the world and prescribed necessary behavioural changes on our part.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat No one can direct own life's journey & external influences do alter our thought & action. Religious affiliation is cultural.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat Some1 is not a fixed creature & is a product of his times & genes. Age & experience teach him & turn him an agent of change.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat You have used the word "witness" in an abstract sense and Mathematics is also abstract. Blueprint is essential for building.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat Evolution is like the Earth rushing forth in its orbit; we hardly notice it. Its action is uniform upon the whole human race.
@SavitriEraParty: @VikasSaraswat You seem to assume the present as fixed whereas it's Evolutionary for Sri Aurobindo as more & more people come to his thought.
@SavitriEraParty: @ashutoshibn7 Only Sri Aurobindo knew precisely which way to follow and even lent his support to the Cripps Mission. But others were blind!
@SavitriEraParty: @AgentSaffron Neither Savarkar nor Ambedkar is a solution to the present problems. Only Sri Aurobindo surpasses the secular/communal binary.
@SavitriEraParty: @irfhabib Imagining the old religions as something fixed is at the heart of all disharmony. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo hew the way out.
@SavitriEraParty: @anityakr Subjective assessment of prevailing political climate soaked in personal wish. Not to be taken too seriously; future is uncertain.
@SavitriEraParty: @RavikiranRao Sri Aurobindo holds that the original perhaps consisted of first 6 chapters with next 6 as additions. Last 6 came much later.
@SavitriEraParty: @hmadhok Politicians also suffer failure, humiliation, and rejection as power is neither permanent nor assured. These are religious virtues.
@SavitriEraParty: @SandeepDikshit @gsurya Right ground for dividing UP into four segments so that such statistics sounds less alarming and governance returns.
@SavitriEraParty: @anityakr That's difficult to predict and depends upon the quality of campaigning at local level. Caste of the candidate is also important.
@SavitriEraParty: All said and done, UP is going to decide who would be PM in 2014. The likely position is: SP- 40, BSP- 20, BJP- 10, RLD- 5, Cong- 3, AAP- 2.
@SavitriEraParty: @sujataanandan @scotchism @rupagulab No sleight of hand needed. State-wise numbers favour Advani as the most acceptable person as PM in 2014.
@SavitriEraParty: @BhaskarChat Advani's praise is for Gujarat alone, not beyond. That's his old stand.
@SavitriEraParty: @gopimaliwal Democracy makes it incumbent on all citizens to ponder over public affairs and scrutinising political parties & their policies.
